I feel like you talking about me , it’s crazy how I overcommit at work just for extra expectation or rather impression , but inthe end it scares me that one mistake would get me fired and they would never consider my everyday efforts , Your articles gets me thinking I should slow down , recently my dad told me to learn how to be mean , over giving is dangerous especially once they realize they have nothing else to get from me , they trash me , as this is becoming the nature of human being just now, they want you for a specific thing and once what they needed you for rans out then boom Trash !! , Thankyou for your article I will definitely keep on reading more of your work # Hugs Mercy

Resonated so, so much. I also think we need to check ourselves and our sense of self importance and control. If we overcompensate aren’t we also assuming the worst of others, at some level? Aren’t we assuming our way is the only way? It’s humbling for me to try and recognize this and overcome it by letting go.

Wow, I really loved this. This hits the nail on the head for so many things in my life as well as so many women I know. Not sure how well I’ll be able to implement it but I will try to keep BARE in mind next time.
